Everyone goes crazy when people don’t realize John Williams did the same thing but no it’s ok for him to do it

Yeah, its such a shame that kenji got fired and completely wiped out of the industry. I got season 2 of kai on blu ray expecting the yamamoto score and getting severely dissapointed

I understand your point, all muisicians start learning by imitation. Sadly, theres ir a point where the inspiration it insn´t inspiration anymore and it becomes plagiarisma, and kenji did go past that point serveral times, entire portions of a song ripped off. Dont misunderstand, i love some of his remixes and reimaginations, thruly great, but i also feel he didnt have the craft to compose a true melody by his own (joe Hisaishi certainly does).

I don't care if he is a thief or not, I still prefer DBZKAI original ost.

"I got an A in Psychology."
Doesn't mean you're a trained professional that we should listen to. He still stole those tracks and repurposed them as his own. Deal with it.

Still doesn't change the fact he's a thief.

Look at all the apologist in the comments, guy straight up took songs, barely changed them, and then called it his own work without crediting the artists.
Imagine working really hard on composing something or writing something interesting, then someone takes your work, changes the bare minimum and then calls it his own without crediting you. Get your head out or your arses.

Honestly I’m more pissed that he didn’t give credit, because if he did, chances are the soundtracks would have been available up to FighterZ….

Did not watch full video but Yamamoto plagerized “Propaganda: Murder of Love” in Trunk’s “Battle point unlimited”... that is all

We get your all distraught over your childhood songs, but he still flat out plagiarized. You having an A in whatever the hell doesn’t prove shit. Btw, just because you can google some sort of behavioral issue, don’t mean he has it

Look, Yamamoto is a musical composer genius and we know it. Nothing discredits that fact alone. Whatever he did, perhaps (as an artist and video gamer lover myself) he just got carried away by something so awe inspiring that he felt it be a great fit for something else. Personally, I’d be incredibly honored if another artist like Yamamoto uses my work for their own projects. It only validates mine more since I was the original creator. I appreciate his work! Grew up with it.

BULLSHIT! Kenji Yamamto didn't just steal one, two or even 10 songs. HE STOLE EVERYTHING! There's a limit to how much "Inspiration" you can take, if all you do is simply make unauthorized remixes of other people's work, you're fucking STEALING!

If all of this was known a very long time ago, and especially known publicly bye everyone, then chances are Kenji Yamamoto could have been back to compose for Dragon Ball, he would have been able to do music for Dragon Ball super.

Kenji Yamamoto is my Master. He brought me to music. Thank to him I knew power metal and a lot of other musical styles and genres. Stratovarius became my favourite band

I love Kenji Yamamoto. He is a legend. People who want to destroy him are the problem with this world.

Dude, he stole songs. There's no getting around it. Leave the denial phase.
