Acura's Integra Type S Is Simply The Better Civic Type R | 2024 Integra Type S Review

Acura's legendary Integra nameplate has returned and for 2024 we have a high performance option in the Type S. Why no Integra Type R? Because: reasons. Honestly, Acura didn't have a good one in my opinion. Anyway, the Integra Type S is the slightly softer, more luxurious, more practical, more comfortable alternative to the Civic with a longer warranty. What's not to love?

Engine bay looks great! Seems like you can get to a lot of things without a lot of drama. Good for long term ownership and keeping costs lower for labor on repair work when needed.

I would like to say thank you Alex between your video and soyban video I purchased a TLX type S 23 and I love it based on what scores you gave it you didn’t focus on HP Alone you spoke to the car and I wanted a conparission to the TLX and without a hiccup I got that right away thanks so MUCH

Love the fastback, would like to have automatic or dual clutch and AWD options
These options would further segregate itself from Type R
Otherwise instead of stealing market share from the Germans, Acura might just be competing against its own Type R.

Seems like you are a reading my mine and saying all the things I wonder about.

I had 1995 Integra Type S and 2003 RSX Type S and as much as loved those cars, I missed having a rear wheel drive vehicles especially on turns.

When you said purity I wouldn’t agreed on two aforementioned vehicles but somehow I feel what you are saying about purity!!

I really miss driving stick shift cars and I am looking for some fun car to throw around. Your review answered all the wonders and now time for the test drive. Thank you!!
