After living with my 2024 Acura Integra Type-S for 8 months, I've noticed a few things I didn't before and hopefully could be improved in future models. Despite that, I still truly love driving the car but I do have one regret...

The shine hasn't worn off. The build quality is not as good as I expected. Front windows can rattle at times, but we still love the way it drives. The car is still a blast.

I saw one on the road the other day, and I was shocked at how aggressive the looks are in the flesh. I was super impressed. I'm in the market for a sports car/sedan. I need to test drive one.

I owned my e46m3 since 2017 and Honda s2000 since 2008, and I still enjoy driving both cars. Cheers to your integ bro!

The lack of a memory seat is the greatest bummer for me when we switch between my wife and I. But it’s still a lot of fun and very engaging car.

My 23 type R rattle like crazy on R mode ! I learn to get use to it and now I actually like it 😂 it make me feel like I’m in a 1999 civic type R ek9. 🤭

Great video. Thank you for sharing.
I want one still, even with its faults.
However, I will not be spending MSRP + on is. Dealerships better get desperate, becuase the car crash is coming.

I'll drive a used A-Spec for $25k before I spend 60k on a fantastic civic type R made in NA.

The seats are still a sore spot for me. They just don't feel special and also don't hold you in particularly well around corners. Imo there should at least be an option for re-skinned CTR seats. Gotta disagree about no sunroof as well. If this is supposed to be the luxury CTR that's not as hard-core, they could have easily added one. Especially as the cheaper trim has one. Ditto for the memory driver seat. It's still a good car, but it's missing features given its price point.

As a person that spent to have the front of their car PPF'd and the whole car Ceramic. If I re-did it Id have done teh WHOLE car in PPF instead. The Ceramic made it very easy to wash, but with all the chips ive gotten daily driving the front of the car looks BRAND NEW but everything past the front clip has chips in it and paint swirls now. My next car i'm getting FULL PPF'd no questions.

People say that this car is expensive but when I was looking into a type r before purchasing my type s, mark up for the Honda were pushing 20k . People were buying a 65-70k Honda civic !

You're 100% right about that front lip worry. This has been my first enthusiast car and I learned the hard way backing into spots is a lot safer.

Also, the wireless car play issue has to do with an incorrect handshake between the phone and car. Only way to reliably fix it is to do a factory reset of the infotainment system and tell your phone to forget your car. You'll need to re-pair everything but it's fixed things for me. It's been several weeks and I haven't had a pairing error since.

Agreed on 2 things for sure. 1. Driver memory on the seat and 2. Home link button on the rear view mirror would be great additions. No sunroof, never wanted one, glad there is no sunroof. Other than that, I'm very happy with the Type S. Well done, Acura.

Definitely agree when it comes to Performance Red, as I have the same for my TLX.

I went back and forth about PPF on my TYPE R and since I drive so many expressway miles on my work commute I decided to get PPF.

I’m satisfied with your experience. Also loved your cinematography personally as a videographer. 👏🏽

Only "One" regret? You just unloaded a whole laundry list.

Yup, the rattles. Left and right side. Soooo annoying. My 2017 accord never had rattles.

Great video about your Type S and the quality of this video is terrific. I love the Tuxmat in my FL5, too!

While I still don’t like the price, I think that this car looks great. I really like the fact that it is a four door sedan, but with a sportier side profile and a six-speed manual gearbox.

Totally agree about not needing a sunroof. Also think heads up display is not needed.

Nice ownership update! Agree for the most part. As a previous FK8 owner and current Integra Type S owner I would add that the rear brake life is terrible. I mostly just daily drive the car no track use and your lucky if you get past 15k miles on the rears with light use. The rears are used when ever you go around a corner by the traction control which causes excessive rear pad wear. Would be nice to be able to easily disable this for normal driving.
