1. Full throttle at all times.
2. Do hand gestures (like wanking gesture) to everyone
3. If you ride like a fool and you almost get clipped, make sure to break their sidemirror to establish dominance
4. Two wheel on the road is one wheel too many, not really needed.
5. Dont aim to become an old rider who's been enjoying their riding for years and years. Overrated. (see rule 1 again)

I ride like I drive, pause at intersections and do not drive in blind spots. Has served me well thus far.

I live where lane splitting is legal and when I do it within our rules, drivers are generally very considerate. Often, they will scoot over a bit to give me more room. I try to wave and acknowledge driver's considerations and overall have no problems.

I LOVE your vids and I gotta give you some credit Mr yammie noob...im a 53 year old lady. My youngest child moved out last year so I got a Mc. I've ridden on back for years(1%ol lady for like 5 years) so I thought I could just jump on and ride. Come to find out I learned nothing, zero, nada from riding on the Back lmao so I came to you tube. You and a couple others taught me to ride. I had little help from people I could touch...so now it's 2 years later and I got it down. I now can ride comfortably without the anxiety that comes with learning, and happily. Really I be smiling like a doo hoo riding down the road. Thank you so much. I ride her everyday and work on her myself and won't let anybody touch her(I got an 04 honda shadow 750) I'm fixing to put clutch covet and pipes back on and enjoy this weather today. Ty so much, I'll never go back!

Great video.
Lane splitting is totally legal in Belgium, and is even encouraged. Cars move over in the left lane to create the space. I ride over 25k kms a year, estimate 8 to 10k lane splitting in the Brussels Antwerp area. I gain between 1 and 3 hours a day that way.

I stare, with a mix of quiet satisfaction and existential dread, as he yells it over and over again. I hear the words echo in my soul as his eyes drill agonizingly into my core. He hovers closer as his chanting stare blots out all other sensation, both external stimuli and internal feeling alike. I shiver and finally go numb, giving in to the terrifying reality presented to me.

"He's right, " I say to my monitor and the empty room around me, "it is all a dream." The monitor stares back, glowing softly.

I can relate to the 'Don't Drink & Ride', although I've never done it myself. I've been on some benefit poker runs where most of the stops were at bars. Halfway through the ride, it was easy to see who had been drinking. I started waiting for everyone else to go before I fell in behind the pack. I didn't want to be near them.

Texas here as well and I filter at lights everytime. Gotta hope that this changes. People are honestly pretty good about it.

#6 - Just STOP it!! The squids that do it sound like an angry hornet (the little ones, not the 'killer' kind)! I laugh every time I hear someone over-revving! 😂😂

Just took my 09 v rod out for the first time earlier. Definitely a good feeling, and love your videos man. It's also my first bike, and oh so happy. For reference I'm 6'-2" and 215lbs, so I can definitely flat foot it at a stop. Just need to get used to the feels.

Good video Yam! Your videos were a part of my beginner journey a few years ago. Lane splitting here in CA is nice, but there are so many riders that continue to lane split at speeds that are flat out dangerous in addition to being over the posted speed limit that it creates cager animosity towards riders. Most people will actually move over for you and make it even safer when done at safe speeds.
