Here are my thoughts on waking up early, getting enough sleep, and motivation.

I didn't plan to post this to YouTube, but people seem to like the video on other platforms, so I decided to share it.

As usual, this is just me sharing my opinion and experience. I don't claim to be an expert on sleep. However, I hope this can help you out!

People will ridicule u for sleeping 8 to 9 hours every night saying ur wasting the day away then proceed to spend their entire day flat on their ass playing video games or watching YouTube/TV

Man.. i literally started sleeping a full 8 hours a day from 9 o'clock to 5 o'clock 3 days ago and i feel so good that i started exercising for no reason.

Edit: 6 months in on my fitness journey, saw tricep definition, a line in the middle from (had to google this) xiphoid to my pyramidalis (the individual abs aren't visible yet), bicep definitions, quads, calves, delts. I think i'm lacking on my back and rear delts, and still a lot of fat overall. i've never really reviewed what i've done... It made me realize i need to put more work on my back. Honestly didn't remember i commented this, just scrolling through youtube and i saw this again so i decided to give an update.

"I am motivated to do things, I do enjoy life" I haven't ever before felt so connected with words in my life, until i heard that. My dad is convinced that I want to waist my life and do nothing because I sleep about 10 hours a day and he only sleeps 4-5 hours. I literally have to tell him that I enjoy life and want to do things but I physically struggle if I don't get enough sleep. the less sleep I get each day the worse i become, and the more he thinks I'm being lazy, it's a horrible cycle of guilt and he just doesn't understand.

I was peacefully enjoying this video when out of nowhere, a goose parks himself outside my window and honks at me, then leaves. While momentarily troubled, I now resume peacefully enjoying this video.

There have been a few sleep experts saying this on the internet for so long and I've been trying to tell people this for years now, and so many people don't understand how deeply important a full nights sleep is. Its vital to maintain brain function and getting too little sleep consistently when you're young, is a huge factor to developing mental diseases later on like alzheimers, dimensia, and parkinsons. Not to mention its also terrible for short term memory and developing new skills.
