I was on hold for over half and hour, the women who helped me talked to me like I was stupid and hung up the phone on me. She also didnt speak good english so I had a hard time understanding. Their cards are missing important information for billing drugs. I believe this is part of an excuse to not pay for insurance. Each time a patient comes to the pharmacy I have to call Aetna and deal with their terrible customer service and STILL not get the answers I need to bill the patients insurance

My Doctor wants me to get a CT scan....However it coasts to much so I can't have one. 2 months ago they were going to call back to let know where I can get a CT scan. Guess what??? still HAVE NOT HERD A WORD ABOUT this. They do NOT COVER what the doctor recommends. What am I supposed to do about the pain in my HIP along with the Hernia I have. I think they should change the to Aetna Elder Abuse!!! How much money is Aetna making off the UAW???

As a nurse working at a rheumatologist practice, I am NOT a fan of Aetna. Historically- they have been very difficult for us to work with. The mandated specialty pharmacies are even worse to work with and your medication will be held hostage by the specialty pharmacy billing department even if the provider office sends the new Rx into pharmacy with the approval notification. Not sure what their hold up is- but we are always bummed out when a patient has Aetna. Patient care is negatively impacted. In my opinion, Aetna = headaches.

my girlfriend is mentally ill she cant work anymore adn she was born with type 1 diabetes she can not go to emergency room or specialist doctors that she needs to go to because she can not afford teh co pay she also has to pay 150 a month just to have the insurance she also has to pay for her meds a certain percentage she also has to pay for her psychiatrist the government ruined her life 3 years ago when they took her medicaid away which was one thousand times better
