Three quarters of the world's population live near the ocean currently. The 300-400 foot sea level rise at the end of the Younger Dryas would have been devastating to an early human population and mostly the ones living at higher elevations, or in caves, would have survived. Any "modern" town or city near the ocean would be completely destroyed.

The GP is NOT composed of 2 million blocks!!!
The external layer of massive stones covers a gross pile of crude stones, sometimes held together with a crude cement.
This is observable at the single corner with a giant "bite" taken out, showing obvious crude construction of piled stones.
This REDUCES the build time, as there is far less shaping and joinery of the blocks.
In a major way, this reduces the accomplishment of the GP, making it far more understandable to accomplish.
People to easily think the exterior stone work and the interior stone work create the notion that the GP is a solid pile of precisely fitted stones.
An exterior layer of finished stone and a finished layer of internal stones conceal a crude jumble of unfinished stones, sometimes held together with a crude, ancient cement.
This DRASTICALLY reduces the time and complexity of the GP build.
Don't overlook the one corner of the GP with a broken open section revealing the internal build!!!
Somethings don't change: finish the the obvious, be crude where possible!!!

I think most of us agree the Younger Dryas was a huge turning point. It makes sense to me the pyramids, the Sphinx, and many other huge constructions were built before the Younger Dryas. I don't care how much you try, you're not cutting granite stone with copper or brass tools.

Carolina Bays were theoretically caused by huge ice chunk ejecta from an impact around Lake Superior. The long axis of the ellipses all intersect at the same location when earth rotation under a shower of debris is factored in. The lack of impact remnants is because these were caused by ice. The evidence for impact is 5x what would be needed for other proofs to be accepted. It's by far the best explanation of what abruptly disturbed the last ice age cycle and reset human development back to almost zero.

It amazes me that a civilization, let alone a dynasty that's supposed to have built a colossal monument like the Giza pyramids, a crowning glory even, which I'm sure many will agree that it's like a trophy accomplishment, yet not a single document or a set of hieroglyphs that lay claim to these monuments, nor give details of their construction, nor of ownership were ever discovered.

What if these monuments were pre-flood?

They state that these ancient civilizations were advanced in engineering, architecture, astrology, but do not say anything about the possibility of advanced weaponry? Could nuclear warheads be a culprit for the damage ( craters ) which would have definite potential to create the nano diamonds, extinctions, civilian displacement, and so on. I look at current times and don't see why a multitude of occurrences could not do the same thing. Poles are shifting, potential for flooding, the threat of another world war on the horizon with nuclear potential and if occured simultaneously could present the same outcome. I have said numerous times that I believe that humans are on a linear timeline until interrupted by themselves or geological disasters and then the timeline restarts. I love Mr. Carlson's body of work, I truly respect his determination to find the truth, but there are still pieces missing and that should be taken into consideration.
