The reason why there are pyramids all over the world is probably because it was the most sturdy and efficient way to build tall building in antiquity.

If you'd actually watched the documentary Matt you'd know that sea levels were 400 metres lower in the ice age meaning there's a lot of land that existed then that is now the bottom of the ocean. Like the huge underwater pyramid off the coast of Japan....

Edit: yes I did mean 400ft thanks for the heads up!

As a qualified Egyptologist, there is compelling evidence of the evolution on Egyptian pyramids. The one you show for example, the step pyramid is a clear expansion of a mastaba Tomb.

And for everyone's benefit, slaves did not build the pyramids.

Pyramids are the most basic stable structure you can build with stones.

Just makes sense that people would come up with them independently.

I live on a glacial deposit, if you've ever seen what a glacier does to a landscape you would quickly understand why there's no evidence. Anything short of a mountain is ground to a pulp.

If you listen to anybody long enough they’ll eventually say something you don’t agree with.

1. Graham Hancock doesn't say he's an archaeologist, he says he's interested in the subject and he's a journalist. 2. He never says his theories are correct. He connected several inconsistencies that mainstream archaeologists are unable to answer and asks why are they so reluctant to even discuss the views and dig more to seek those answers. 3. He says his theories are just that - theories and does give plausible explanations.
So instead of dismissing his arguments, maybe if mainstream archaeologists did their jobs better, we would have more answers. They have been known to be wrong. Look at Gobekli Tepe. Mainstream archaeologists had dismissed that it was around 12000 years old. And yet, here we are. Stuffy old ppl whose egos are hurt easily when someone asks them to investigate another line of thought are definitely not the right ppl to lead archaeological departments. Scholars are ppl who are supposed to be open minded and study what they don't know and not be egotistic.

The flood would answer those questions 🤣 Noah and his family being the few survivors.

The tragic loss of the Library of Alexandria can’t be understated when it comes to missing evidence of the past

The better argument is not just the pyramids, the ability to move extremely large stones, the amazing skill of building walls and buildings with tiny gaps and the working of and with very hard rock are the more convincing.

Those questions are answered, and the answers are very logical.

What you say might be true, but he is trying to open your mind to possibilities as the current teachings don’t have answers that make sense either
