Bios files MUST be named like this:

bios_CD_E.bin
bios_CD_J.bin
bios_CD_U.bin

I didn't know what happened from the beginning after I transferred the PC Engine CD-ROM 2 game on the mini NES and it didn't work, but now I get it. I should have installed both BIOSES so that PC Engine CD-ROM 2 games work very well. And look, now it works! Thank you so much for your incredible experiment!

I found the solution, this is what worked for me. Follow these steps:
(1) go to modules, select KMFD's Mod Hub, click on KMFD BIOS tab, select RA BIOS Master Module, then click Download and install.
(2) close out KMFD's Mod Hub window and go back to Modules, then click on Install extra modules. Put check beside RA BIOS Master Module and click OK.
(3) Now go to your hakchi folder, go to user_mods, click on _km_ra_bios_master_module.hmod, click on etc, select libreto, then system, and then add the bios files there. That's it, All done.

Copying over the folder doesn't work as showcased here, instead follow the steps on hakchi CE's website:
1. Copy BIOS files to /etc/libretro/system folder
2. Copy .hmod folder to user_mods and install
3. Now it shows up in your modules, Modules -> Bios Template

Good tutorial Patton. Installing the PSX Bios with this method fixed all the issues I was having. Diablo, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear VR Missions, Gran Turismo 2, and Policenauts are now working. Thanks!

Hey guys. If you type the bios names above into Google you will struggle to find the exact filename but you will find similarly named bios files and you'll know it's the right one. Download it and rename it to match the bios names above. It will work eventually. It's just taken me 12 hours to find and install the English rondo of blood and get it working due to typos and other stupid problems.

Is there an updated video available?
There seems to be the KMFD's Mod Hub on Hakchi2 CE v3.8.0 with some kind of BIOS section in it.

As I know, BIOS files are needed to improve the sound quality on GBA games (some games have stuttering sound) and to run Sega CD and Turbografx-16 CD-ROM games.

If it's ok to mention here....for the PS1 bin files.... if looking for the 5501 bin file....wherever you have/find your bin can make a copy of the "scph5552.bin" and rename it to "scph5501.bin" and it will work to add. I finally got Metal Gear Solid and both Gran Turismo II Arcade/Simulation running on my SNES Classic. Those are examples of games that you must have the BIOS installed to work. Other PS1 games ran fine without them...like Tony Hawk games and MK Trilogy. On another note...I have all my PS1 games installed as eboots.

Hi PP, I see a typo on the screen text 0.34 - 2.14. Sega CD BIOS file name for US. It's written 'bios_CD_u.bin', and it should be 'bios_CD_U.bin'. Great videos, love 'em :D
