Hey man thanks for the help! I put the melonDS bios files in zarchiver, but when I try to load up melonDS it still says "failed to load content". It would mean a lot if you could help, I can add you on discord or send you pictures if you need.

I'm stuck with getting bios set up on my series s, retroarch is installed and updated. I've tried adding through PC portal and through USB. I'm beyond frustrated at this point, maybe I'm missing a step or something in between.

I have a lot of system bios. Is it ok to just dump all of them in this folder?
Do they all just sit in the system folder at the same time? Or do some need to be re_named or in sub-folders?
