Evacuation orders, warnings expand for parts of Yuba County due to fire

Yuba County residents near the community of Dobbins are being told to evacuate because of a fast-spreading vegetation fire, according to Cal Fire, the state's fire management agency. The fire was first reported shortly before 5 p.m. along Winding Winding Way, Cal Fire said. As of 5:10 p.m., the fire has burned at least 25 acres and has a rapid rate of spread. Video by Alert Wildfire shows a massive plume of dark smoke in the area.
