I'm glad I live in Minnesota and don't ever have to worry about this stuff. Prayers for people in Florida 🙏

OMG, Ocala has lots of beautiful Horses, and hopefully, they were relocated to a safer place, as other Animals as well.

Don't wait for authorities to tell you to leave. DO IT ON YOUR OWN. LIFE/SAFETY FIRST.

Fifty-one counties in the state of Florida are under a state of emergency, with millions facing the prospect of evacuation as Milton gains steam along its path toward the Tampa Bay area, where it is expected to make landfall Wednesday evening.

Speaking at a press conference Tuesday morning, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis emphasized that while wind speeds may have slowed, Milton is “still a major hurricane” with the potential to strengthen again before it makes landfall.

Hurricane that hit Tampa in 1848 was Cat 4 and resulted in significant changes to the coastline. Milton is going to do similar damage.

Hurricane Milton was downgraded from a dangerous Category 5 storm overnight but remained a very powerful Category 4 hurricane as it took aim at Florida’s Gulf Coast, which is still reeling from Helene’s record-breaking landfall just over a week ago.

Tell people on their iPhone they can find by location elevation just moving a few miles .. you only need to go to an elevation above sea level by 10 or 20 feet

Everyone should own a simple water filter. You can buy a lifestraw for $20 and then you always have it if you need it.

It still amazes me that no one is reporting about the storm effects on Florida’s east coast.
