About: Satisfactory
Satisfactory is a first-person open-world factory building game with a dash of exploration and combat. Pioneering for FICSIT Incorporated means charting and exploiting an alien planet, battling alien lifeforms, creating multi-story factories, entering conveyor belt heaven, automating vehicles, and researching new technologies. The Satisfactory Train update and Nuclear update also adds in trains, train stations, and nuclear power plant to enjoy, if you can handle the nuclear waste that is! In some of our videos, we go over Satisfactory tips and Satisfactory building tips, as well how to build a mega base and manufacturer setup. Our Satisfactory Early Access let’s play ep 1 was started a few months ago, but now we have hundreds of hours since Satisfactory ep 1 and have built a giant base with computer production, supercomputer production, a huge nuclear power plant and hundreds of trains! Our giant train system covers the entire map and gathers uranium, deals with our nuclear waste, and Satisfactory trains are a very satisfactory way of travel!
Satisfactory Update 3 also changed the game entirely adding pipes, Hyper Tubes, the Awesome Shop and Awesome Sink (aka Resource Sink), a new desert biome, a new vehicle, and a ton more!
This Factorio like game has heavy automation, with automated mining, crafting, and you can even automate movement! Follow my Satisfactory Early Access Gameplay for the best base building, best Satisfactory tips, and more!

Correction: the pipes visual about how full it is DOES NOT represent the flow rate through the pipe

I just started playing this game. After watching this video and seeing how crazy these builds can get, i'm never playing again.

That one about placing pumps on walls... That's going to be a game changer for me!

One thing I tested about pipes today - if you go down, you can go back up. Let's say you have pipes that are 100m off the ground and you drop them to ground level, and then back up later on. You don't need pumps to bring them back up to 100m.

I get so hypnotized by my giant spaghetti monster that I can't even conceive creating a megafactory lol
I think I have a great idea, and then I see something shiny on a conveyor built and it just stops me in my tracks and I forget my great idea haha.

For me the best way, to get "Oil" into base is to build a very small factory directly on top of an oil field, where i produce and use everything thats possible and send it with trains to base...
In my opinion, its better and more efficient than the packing/unpacking method, because you need a few refinerys at base, but at the oil field aswell, they need lots of space and they all want Energy to run + the Train! And after this, you still have to build more refinerys, to use the oil.
I think, it would be cool if they add a specific building for packing and unpacking stuff, which is a lot smaller, maybe like the manufractor and dont consume this amount of power. Than its maybe worth :D

Kibz, if you put 5 waterextractors on 2 pipes you can fill up 2 full pipes. Because every waterextractor is 120 m3/minute. 120/2=60. And 60x5=300. Also easy to remember

General tip to avoid massive amounts of pumps, is to set up two train stations, one at higher altitude right over the one bellow it. Or a bottling setup. But Trains are my preffered option. Either way, just have it raise the liquids up to a higher altitude over the starting station by a good bit, and then that upper station has its pipes come down and move along as normal, but with that higher source point for those popes, far fewer pumps are needed from then on. It's pretty much like a water tower.

Love this channel. He always sounds super sarcastic. Nice!

Btw Kibz, fluid pumps can move fluids up 5 walls not 4, from middle of first pump to middle of the second pump, so u could have them at 4-4.5 wall heights apart if you are concerned about having enough pump head.

"the most efficient water extractor setup" has other interpretations. Your is the most power efficient but sometimes you have other limits. The most "space efficient" layout is 5 extractors with no clocking, all connected to a 2 ended pipe. Both ends output 300 and you maximize a small lake area or some other space limited build.

if you dont want to play with pump production %, just build 5 pumps and connect them to 2 outgoing pipes.
5th, or middle pump, will pump into two pipes/sides. if you want to force 50/50 share of it, use pumps, but ultimately it shouldnt matter. 5 pumps will produce 600 fuilds, just enough to utilize 2 pipes fully.
save power and materials and your CPU.

always straight to the point and not wasting all of our time, thanks alot sir!

if you put 5 extractors on one pipe, 300m3/min comes out of each end of that pipe. or, two extractors, one with one shard gives you 300, or one extractor with 3 shards in it gives you 300.
