I go by " God created man in His own image." God wasn't a monkey!

Frank support your answer with God's word, not because another man agrees with evolution. This answer brings confusion. ..

Evolution is one of the most robustly supported scientific theories of all time. If you believe in gravity or germs you have just as much if not more evidence for evolution as both of those theories and therefore your lack of belief isn't based on a lack of evidence but on your own bias.

“By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭3‬ ‭

Evolution and Christianity can’t be harmonized, and those who think it can are self deceived and blind from the clear reading of scripture.

Evolution is the opposite of Genesis in every way:
Evolution: Through death, life came into the world
Bible: Through man, death came into the world

Both statements can’t be right. To say evolution is true would call God a liar. Remember, God said looking upon what he created and said “And it was very good”. Do you really think all the death and destruction was “very good”? You either side with God or this world on this, no way around it.

No and both accounts ignore each other for a reason.
God created with purpose or an accident created out of sheer luck.
God made man in His image or the accident made the goo to the zoo to you.
I dont see how those are compatible at all.

I think Darwin said without "links" connecting species his theory isn't possible. None have been found and people believe in evolution more.

What you mean by 'macroevolution', I believe because of the abundance of transitional fossils mapping out the tree of life.
What scientists mean by 'macroevolution' is speciation though, which can happen with such small changes to the organism that creationists aren't impressed with it, calling it microevolution.

Adaptations have been shown to be true, evolution falls flat. Now for the gospel: that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the LORD JESUS and shalt believe in thy heart that GOD raised him from the dead thou shalt be Saved 🙌 for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

I do struggle with this one a bit personally, not because I am unsure what I believe, but because I have to set aside my personal standard for God's standard. I feel attributing the creation of the world to evolution detracts from God's miraculous power in designing and creating the earth. But if someone genuinely believes in God but also really thinks there can be evolution, does that revoke their salvation? I cannot find a Biblical precedent for that either. I see it like people who believe they will meet Fido one day beyond the pearly gates. I suppose maybe, but I don't personally think so. Although there is probably more solid evidence you will see Fido again one day than there is for evolution. 😆

It isn't about how you interpret Genesis 1. It is about how you interpret the concept of evolution. I interpret evolution to lie consistently about how necessary having blind faith in it is before a person can understand genetics and biology. Genetics and biology do not rely on evolution and evolution models are not the only ones that have predictions fulfilled based on data. Creation models can and do make the same predictions that we would have the data we do have and to think evolution should be favored over creation ignores the creation model. Ignoring an opponent doesn't make you victorious.

Evolution and natural selection aren't a problem for God. To me, they are part of God’s creation and his plan.

Rewording this to highlight the problem: "Can you be a Christian while also being honest about reality?" and the answer is no, not if you take the bible as being a wholly true set of stories. And if you don't then you have to cherry pick through the stories to pick the ones you feel are true, and that's kinda pointless.

Claims that evolution is responsible for the diversity of life on this earth is nothing more than a concept. The concept of evolution.

No you cannot. Its either one or the other.

Well, believing in evolution kills a number of christian tenets: god created all animals and that humans are created in gods image for ex.

If the bible is wrong about that, then the credibility of the bible seems quite compromised to me, and i would guess, also for Christians.

But hey, im just a faithless heathen, what do i know..

People who say mirco evolution can occurr but not marco

Like me saying aging doesn’t exist because we turn from young people to old people over the course of multiple years and you can’t observe every person aging

Believing in evolution is stealing God's deserved glory.

It's funny how the lady asks something and they caption a very different question... Believing in God and believing in the Bible are not really the same thing.
