I’m no expert, but the directions say to leave 4 inches from edge of strip to edge of brood chamber...? Also if you have screed bottom boards to close them off. Yes I see your hives are on on the ground, so that may not matter. (And I don’t know if you have closed bottoms anyhow.)Thanks for posting this, I’m getting ready to treat for first time in my life and was uncomfortable due to lack of familiarity of product.

I used this treatment method and just in a few hours I had a lot of dead bees at the entrance. I followed the directions and was in the threshold for temperature. I’m worried it will kill my queens (I treated 4 hives). Can I take the stripes out of the hives? Is it too late? Can I check for the queens in a few days? Thanks in advance.

How would one use on a top bar hive? It won't work laying across the top would I set the strip on the bottom?
