How to use a controller and SKSE64 - Skyrim Special Edition

After adding several mods to vortex it made my controller not function and I was perplexed. Spent a min trying to figure out why it wasn't working anymore. Just reinstalled skse and now its working again, thanks brah.

OMG.. I dont know what happend with the newest updates but my switch controller used to work fine with skyrim SE but now I wanted to play again and it didn't.. it took me ages to find out an update from SKSE64 or anything was the problem messing with this.. so I found this video and thanks so much u saved my evening xDD But for me it works perfectly fine starting SKSE64 from steam I didnt know you could add this to steam so I did this and now it works :DD thanks so much, people like you deserve a medal <3

You need Steam open to launch Skyrim so that last bit was kind of pointless.

Thank you :) Still relevant for me too. So you keep steam open with Skse? I know how to add a tool, not really sure if I should connect my switch in steam or not. I use Eldergleam v2 :) So its pretty modded and comes with a different modmanager.

Are you using wireless controller? It works fine with a cord but I’ve had trouble just on Bluetooth

Man im so fucking sick of my shit just randomly not working dor no damn reason. Controller womt work. Anybody know a fix? I'm not on steam I bootlegged the game because I'm sick of my games being dependent on third party software that I can randomly get kicked out of for no reason So if anyone knows what would fix the controller not working problem please let me know.
