Hoppers death was more dark if you think about it. A small bird youngling alone wouldn't be able to eat him whole, the other two would need to eat aswell, that's why all three of them must share the food. So in the end, hopper was torn apart and eaten by those three birds combined

I find the juxtaposition of the horrifying death of Hopper getting ripped to pieces with cute-as-hell baby birds SO genius. Its almost unlike any other death scene ive witnessed for that reason.
