Woman allegedly calls police on 8-year-old black girl selling water

There is growing backlash against a San Francisco woman who allegedly called police on an 8-year-old black girl selling water. Jordan Rodgers was confronted by Alison Ettel, who is white, for not having a permit to sell bottled water on the sidewalk. The girl's mother intervened and recorded the interaction on video. The ONLY reason why Permit Patty is apologetic is because she was put on blast and received immediate and massive backlash for her racist actions.
On a brighter note, it warms my heart to see that people of all races are speaking up and showing more support for the victims of such hate fueled incidents.

many of us grew up selling lemonade, cookies all kinds of this to make money we also had new paper routes babysit anything to make extra money. tjis was not a HOMELESS PERSON on the street that only would beg for money to buy alcohol or drugs. This was a child, somes little girl doing nothing wrong but try to make money to go on a trip. The child should not have to explain the reason. How Many Adults sold lemonade, washed cars, did yard work anything to buy something or go somewhere as a child. this women needs to be ban from being able to buy anything.shame on her and thanks to who bought tickets for her. a child only lives once
