Woman Allegedly Left Daughter in Unlocked Car to Go Drinking

A Florida woman is accused of leaving her 7-year-old daughter in her car while she went drinking. Police say the little girl was left in the parking lot around midnight. Three hours later, the child got out of the car and went looking for her mom in the bar. The staff called the cops. Her mom, Veronica Elliot, appeared out of nowhere in the parking lot at 6:30 a.m. Cops say she was under the influence. Elliot was charged with child neglect.

As horrible as this woman is, this little girl is so well spoken. She deserves so much better.

I felt every word coming from the officer scolding the horrible mother. Some parents won’t even allow their kids to cross the street by themselves without holding the hands of trusted adults, yet this piece of work leaves her daughter in the car by herself to go drinking at midnight. Unreal. The little girl is very brave and smart for her age. I’m glad she was ok and she had some kind strangers to help her.
