Hello, we do not say false citrine but treated citrine or amethyst heated for a citrine heated by man and not naturally in nature. A fake citrine is when a material that is not an expensive quartz mineral has limited by color or appearance

Is it normal for a real BG3 citrine to have rainbows?

You said: "Glass is a little bit cooler than natural gemstones".

No, it's quite the opposite.

What do you guys think about heat-treated Citrine?

I have a heat treated citrine! Why would they call it citrine if it's really an amethyst!

Please, make a video about natural and treated prasiolite (so-called "green amethyst").

I dreamed that I need citrine. I started searching from local stores here in Perú and all are fake. Where to buy it online with international shipping?

I’ve had this question in my mind for a while now. How is it that heat treated gemstones such as citrine can keep their color for so long? Also, do they heat gemstones at different temperatures to give different hues of a certain stone? Thank you.

I have piece of Citrine (supposedly) that looks mostly translucent with a hint of pale yellow from certain angles or under a lot of light. Almost like the color banding you mentioned. But the corners are not pointed so it might just be glass. I know it's impossible to tell without looking at it but what are the chances of it being natural vs fake?

Everything you say is absolutely true except I have piles of iradiated and heated crystals that are uniform color throughout. You can't tell the difference these days unless you're seller is honest enough to tell you or they heated root crystals like the one you're showing.

Thank you for this video. I am new to crystals and need citrine but after visiting my local shop I became suspicious of the stone i got. Its definately amethyst. So does this heat treated amethyst still have amethyst properties?

I bought one of those chakra chip bracelets a couple years ago and noticed how perfectly sunny 😅yellow the “citrine” part was . Close up I saw a sparkling effect. Magnified showed micro air bubbles. 🤦🏻‍♀️ also bought a “strawberry quartz” and turned out to be cherry quartz. The reddish bands were just too smooth and again found the micro bubbles. 🫧 with no texture difference . Really taught me to triple check what I buy .

I have this “carnelian” bracelet that I’m skeptical about even tho I find no bubbles. Each bead is a completely opaque deep orange with no blemishes at all 🤔 I have a chip carnelian one that’s all kinds of colors or orange, brown, yellow and cream, definitely real.

Can a piece of natural Citrine be cut into pieces and tumbled? My 'Citrine' has quartz cracks in it. You mentioned a quartz crystal being dyed to look like Citrine, but how much color remains after the process?
