FAKE CITRINE ALERT | Amethyst Goddess Crystals

So many people thought that heat treated/baked amethyst (orange color) was the only kind of fake citrine, and didn’t believe me when I said that the neon yellow kind is also not real!🙅🏽‍♀️

These neon yellow ones are quartz that has been treated to look like citrine, but to me it’s easy to spot the difference in color once you know what to look for. Natural citrine can range from light champagne to deep honey color but should not appear neon or like Mountain Dew.

I plan on buying some fake crystals for comparison purposes and making a more in-depth video, but for now these are the videos that I had in my camera roll📸
