In this video we will see how to add google map on website. Also known as embed google map OR insert google map. We will learn how to add google maps on wordpress & HTML websites.
In my case i am adding map for rue lafayette to my website . you can choose enter office adress or home adress , city or state to display on your website.
once you open that adress in google maps . click on share.
the pop up box will appear , now click on embed a map.
You can choose the maps size, whether you want a big map, medium , smaller or cutstom size.
Copy the html.
so this code can be used on both kind of websites, wordpress websites and html websites.
1) Wordpress
To add google map on website made with wordpress.
go to the page on your wordpress website where you want to add the map. If you are using elementor click on elementor, if you are using any other editor or gutenburg open that page with that page builder.
now i will search for text element, which is available in every page builder whether you are using elementor, gutenberg or any other editor.
i will drag and drop the text element on page where i want to add the map.
click on text element (do not add code to visual tab, if you do that the code will not work)and now choose text option and paste the code.
now update the page.
2) HTML website
let's see how we can add may to html website.
open your html file where you want to add map.
now where you want to add the map add a div opening and closing tag there because you may need div to style if required.
and paste the code inside. save the file and now open that html file in browser and refresh.
