I purchased insurance from Expedia for a portion of my trip. It was super cheap and through Allianz. A hurricane hit and disrupted my cruise which prevented me from traveling to the first part of my destination. I filed my claim and was fully reimbursed in a few days.

Just as important, look at how disputes are resolved. Some comprehensive coverage policies make you arbitrate disputes in Texas under the laws of Bermuda. Consider what you are going to have to go through it your believe you are entitled to coverage. You want to be able to litigate in YOUR HOME STATE.
