Straight Talk Home Internet 'Watch BEFORE you spend $$'

Had to work around the Check Availability by using an address 7.2 miles away from my home. The home internet connected and I am very pleased with the results. Currently have TV, phones, and laptop connected, while downloading videos.

As a salesman for these in the past ill give everyone some insight on these and the verizon ones

1. They arent geolocked regardless what verizon bitches and moans about.
2. You can use these in semis. Our store was located in a truckstop.
3. If you want to expand the wifi range, there is a tutorial on how yo adapt the antenna wire to an external antenna and it works. You can use a top mounted antenna for your truck or a yard antenna. Whatever strikes your fancy
4. Activate it in the location you bought it at. If you are in walmart. Bum a plug and set it up on property and it will be a hell of alot easier than setting it up at home. We used to set up the customers boxes in our pilot even though we werent a qualified address

What carrier towers does Straight Talk Home Internet Use? AT&T?

I got one earlier today from Walmart and just hooked it up 4 hours ago. I had to use a relative address that's 6 miles away to get service. I called customer care to activate mine using the $45 activation card that I had handy. Customer care told me it could take 30 minutes to an hour for the white light to turn solid. So far 4 hours have passed still flashing white not solid but I'm able to use the device at high speeds so I will not complain. Customer care also told me I should be able to use the device before the white light turned solid so far so true.

Very interesting so basically it's a artificial restriction I wonder if it has something to do with locking certain customers to specific providers.

I've been using straight talk prepay service on the unlimited 5G data plan . my questions is since I have straight talk cellular service were i live will the straight talk home internet work to ? . the reason I'm asking is when i check my address it show not available in my area like I said I have straight talk cellular service and i have strong single on the 5G network i just can't figure out why it say it wont work in my area when my cell work good . what's your thoughts on this matter. Straight Talk display at Walmart says to check availability prior to purchase. I did, and I know it's not available in my area. I'll have to wait until service is available.

But now it is not showing may need to call or I may try to refill using Walmart card. Be happy to keep service

this little box just keep going
no more freezing
next step probably cutting cable tv

internet was around 80 and tv 130

this box 45 per month and some online tv with same channels i watching 15-20 per month
so seemingly 1/3rd of the cable
and looking for straightalk phone is solid 35 permonth
since years

the landline costed same 35
shifted to straighttalk and landline 15

plus cable just went up month after months
im not a salesman its not a commercial but my experience

others might have better experience with cable companies
