Interesting, the difference in handling turn 9 & 10.
I knew Max likes to attack a turn wide, turn early and have an early straight exit, but this really shows the difference.

I think comparing Max 2023 vs Max 2022 would be more accurate, because it seems Ferrari hasn't done much of a step forward (if at all) from last year, while Red Bull have. And maybe that would be more representative of the actual difference, since Red Bull's car is a true evolution of last year's car. Unlike Ferrari and Merc who have almost gone backwards or AM who have completely re-done their car.

knowing that the 2023 cars were supposed to be a bit slower than 2022 due to the new floor changes, this is amazing. Such great development to these teams is incredible. And even more knowing that the ferrari one lap pace last year was soooo good, watching the red bull do a pole lap almost a second faster is hard to believe

This shows a lot how the cars carry more speed in corners, but I’d like to know what period of ‘22 was used as a benchmark.

Late last season, the top speed of the Red Bulls was about 321km/h, while the Ferraris and Mercedes were about 311km/h. By comparison, Charles had the greatest top speed in Bahrain this year at only 298km/h, with Max’s top speed at 295km/, indicating that the ‘23 cars are currently slower through the speed traps than the cars were late last season. I am curious as to how they compared at the start of ‘22. Maybe this is what is being shown?

This year's RB is super optimized for corner exit I'd say, not simply driving style, the car prefers this.
