Nine Months of Hunger in Nagorno-Karabakh

The only road to Nagorno-Karabakh was blocked for 9 months leading to a humanitarian crisis.

During last year’s siege of Nagorno-Karabakh, the International Red Cross was one of the few organizations that could get supplies in and people out. But Azerbaijan repeatedly obstructed its efforts to assist the suffering people trapped in the largely Armenian region.
