I’m a cuber myself and this is completely incorrect you have to start by solving the cross the first 2 layers the top layer and solve the edges of the top layer hope this helps.

As a cuber, you're wrong af, it takes algorithms (sequences of moves) and memorizing the cube to solve it blindfolded

You're supposed to solve it layer by layer, the algorithms are CROSS F2L OLL PLL, that's actually a method. CFOP and ROUX are fast and easy methods. Or if you're really new, beginner method which is 3 layers is for you.

The reason that people solve it so fast because they’ve been practicing for years to get it that fast and there is no such thing as “shortcuts” to solve Rubik cube you gotta learn it.
