Without joy u can't finish the race. Yes there must be joy in every thing you do..be it pray or reading the Bible, Don't just do it for the sake of doing it.

First! Also, I love you, and I'm sorry to hear about your son. I hope he'll be saved saved, like I hope for my own family to be. I don't know you that well, and I've only heard a few of your lectures, but I do think of you like a father figure. In what little capacity I've known you, you've done well to honour the Lord. I realize that if I wanted to be
happy, I needed to practice
compassion. Something I lacked in my younger years. I’m a single mother struggling to provide for my two autistic boys since losing my job due to my failing health and for declining the vaccine. Things have been so difficult. I have faith you will provide for me Father. You will make away even though I do not see one. All praise to you Heavenly Father. You have restored my faith! How legalist live Holy? Who give legalist the grace to obey and keep the law?

Is depression an oppression or possession of demonic activity? Or is it a real physical problem in the body fixable with medication? I’ve not seen people (in my own family and friends) who suffer from this actually get completely better with medications. Medicine will help some, but never brings true relief.

I am a backsliding depressed because of Sin Christian. I desire God Jesus but my flesh wants other things :( I sometimes doubt my salvation I recognize my need if the Savior Jesus Christ and don’t know what to do but wait in sadness :/

Joy doesn't matter. Just obey God's commandments daily and do what the bible says. It isnt about emotions. It is about keeping the law regardless of how you feel. Whether you're sad or not. Obey God. Your feelings don't matter. Keep the law.
