Revealing my LAWYER SALARY & YOUTUBE INCOME for the first time 💸

Corporate law is a career where you earn good money - salaries are generally much higher than average (although so are the hours!) 😝 But, content creation is definitely seen as an EASIER way to get rich - viral videos making millions in passive income is the dream, right?

Well, in this video, I share my actual weekly earnings as a corporate lawyer and YouTuber, so that you can compare traditional careers (like law) with influencer life. Clearly, there are reasons aside from money for doing jobs or creating content, but in this video, I’m focused entirely on 💰

About Me

I'm a lawyer, part-time YouTuber, son, brother, startup founder, fiancé, black coffee drinker and plant dad. I graduated from Cambridge University (where I studied French and Spanish), topped my law school class and now work for a corporate law firm in London as a trainee solicitor (which takes up a lot of my time)!

Good on you for putting all this out there but I do wonder about that symbiosis. I'd suggest that if you stick at it and become a more senior lawyer, that sharing some of this stuff may not always be appreciated by clients/colleagues and any 'upside' will be outweighed by the downside. When your role in deals get bigger I predict you will make the decision to scale back the youtube to protect your career. In the meantime I'm sure lots on here will enjoy your content - congratulations!

I feel like completing leaving out any bonus information is like leaving out a huge piece of the puzzle. Sure, it’s discretionary, but if it’s generally a sizeable % of base then I think it’s worth providing a range of what that could be.

Hey Liam I really love your channel and content. I often think that with people like yourself, your followers will compare your “day job” and “YouTube” and say “oh well YouTube is much easier ect.

But I think that without your day job your YouTube content would not / could not be to the incredible standards it’s at. It’s very common now days for content creators to have ‘come up’ by trading off their traditional credentials like there titles (layer, Dr, prof ect..)
