I had 5 kids so I would have loved having a home like this when they were young. ( We lived in an 80o sq ft 2 bed 1 bath 1970 when the youngest was born. Then bought THIS house which is 4 beds 2 baths and about 1, 500sqft (sp just about double sq ft) and it seemed sooo big for a while. Then the kids grew and took more space LOL. They are all grown up.amd having kids of their own and. living their lives now. Thanks for doing this. I love watching home tours but having someone who knows the little details of the ho.e doing it is really cool.

This home is huge. Perfect for a growing family. Having the heat registers in the ceiling makes placing the furniture easier. Kitchen is well laid out. I’d upgrade the stove. Plank floors are very nice. Cabinets appear to be a decent quality. The den is perfect. Love the fireplace TV wall. Like having the utility room off of the kitchen. Needs to have a sink if the room allows. Guest bedrooms are a great size. Master suite is large. Bath is well appointed but I’d upgrade the shower to a tiled one. Guest bath is nice. I’d add a transom window. I usually find a fair bit of things to change/upgrade. With this one my comments are minimum. It’s simply a nice home.

Nice home. Prefer sheet rock walls. Master bedroom needs a walk in closet, and the kitchen needs more drawer space

Your video was good. I like that you open up the doors, especially showing the kitchen pantry and laundry room. For a house that size, the kitchen pantry is way too small. Some people might need to turn that nice extra space in the laundry room into another pantry instead of putting a freezer there. Also, I would rather see one big living space, instead of 2 smaller, separate spaces so a large family could spend time together. The master closet was also way too small. But that's just me.

I really like this! We're looking for a 4 to 5 bedroom and this is a much lower price point than I've seen anywhere else.

Thank you very much for including a picture of the floor plan but would you please put the picture of the floor plan at the start of the video. That way we can look at it before you start the video. It’s easier to keep up as you go along filming from room to room. Thank you.

When I look at a home I notice all the small things that people over look the outlet on the island is not straight when buying any kind of home make sure you look at the small stuff you will find things are not straight and people are in a hurry putting things in homes I grant you it’s a wonderful home but for the money your spending make sure outlets are straight corners and window seals are right cabinets are straight wood floors are not paper open the blinds and look around the windows a lot of times it’s just extra thin material that is left over make sure all the baseboards are not thin and they match and they are square with the room

I quite like this house, and its price seems good. It is large and versatile. I like the slider onto the outside off the dining area that many homes strangely omit. All the bedrooms are also spacious. No arguments over bedroom as far as size.

However, as others have said the master wardrobe is too small, but I like that it is not off the master bath and does not back onto a wet space. I think that is the biggest flaw in this plan for most people, and that being said, while a minor point, could be a deal-breaker for many.

I was also a little disappointed by the size of the main living room. It is shown with a three seater couch and one chair only, and would be cramped with even one more single chair, let alone a recliner. Extending this area would have the benefit of increasing the size of the master bedroom to accomodate more wardrobe space!

I also think the entry living room doesn't have enough separation to make it as useful as it could be or likely used as often or as effectively as it might otherwise be. For me, this is a big draw back of this plan! I like the plans where there is a second family room that can optionally add to the open living space as this one does, but can also be closed off, which is not the case here, and could not easily be achieved as far as I can see. I also don't like that while it is totally open it seems somewhat disconnected at the same time. Anyway...

I'd like to see a sink in the laundry even though it is off the kitchen.

I'd also like the option to have sliding wardrobe doors. And I note that the doors to the jack and jill bathroom open out, while there seems plenty of space in the bathroom for them to open into the bathroom itself.

For me, I'd also want to add a ranch slider to the outside to at least the master and one other bedroom. The master as a luxury option. To one of the other bedrooms so that if used as an office, someone coming to see you for business would not need to enter the main part of the house unless they need to use the toilet. I assume such options could be accommodated.

I have also been spoilt by seeing bathrooms with huge step-up showers. Nothing wrong with the shower in the master bath here, but seeing all the videos that are available, if anything like me you end up hoping to incorporate the best of all of them.

Hope I haven't been too hard on this house, as I appreciate it for what it already is for its price point, but I'm sure for not much more money could be significantly improved. For me, I see so many homes that are so close, but yet not close enough for me. While this does offer the fifth bedroom, it is clearly at the expense of other space on other plans of similar overall size. The laundry is fine but could be bigger. The pantry is one of the smallest I've seen. Most are significantly bigger, some are walk-ins and a few are even separate rooms. The majority of the bigger houses have walk-in master closets and many are huge with islands and such, even on modestly-priced homes like this. So, yes, you are getting a fifth bedroom with this plan, but you are losing some luxuries that some similarly-priced four bed plans offer. But I admit that many such plans have the master closet off the master bath, even when the layouts as they stand would allow a door from the master bedroom instead.

Bill seems as if he would be a good guy to deal with and I appreciate his presenting this video. I don't think he needs to spend too much time in every bedroom when they all are of similar size and amenities. Two equal rooms sharing a jack and jill bathroom. And two equal rooms sharing a separate bathroom. Surely only need to really show one of each type of bedroom.

Anyway, I hope Bill sees my comments as constructive.
