The absolute greatest Father-Son relationship in TV history - which still stands up even today over 60 years later. Wonderful lessons that our younger generations could stand to be exposed to today!

I grew up with this show and countless others. They all taught respect and honesty. Words I live by even today.

My husband and I watched this every day - it was on for about 2 hours. We were the same age and grew up watching this. We both loved it. Every evening it was Andy Griffith and the Rifleman.
Brought us back to a more decent time. And that's from 2 die hard hippies, Deadheads.
We lived going back to a simpler time every night. When people were decent, you knew your neighbors, and NO CELL PHONES! I miss watching these shows with him so much.

I'm always amazed by Mark. The writers give him impossibly difficult speeches, but manages to make sense out of them. Probably the best child actor ever on TV. I can't think of anyone better.

Who cares if it was authentic. All I know is growing up in the fifties and sixties it was one of the most awesome and entertaining cowboy shows I ever watched. It was void of extreme cussing which can't be said of the majority of western today. Loved that too. Lucas and his son had a great bond. My father and I were very close. He died in 2007. He was a man's man!

I grew up watching Rifleman and it was one of my father’s favorite shows! Rifleman even reminded me of my father, his height and physique except for his face. I remember sitting next to my father as we both watched Rifleman with such interest! It was a great show and such fond memories of my father and me that I will always cherish!💕

"The Rifleman, " was always a "must watch" in my family as I was growing up. My favorite character was "Mark" portrayed by Johnny Crawford. Thanks for the walk down memory lane, Facts Verse! 🤗

I had 2 children and divorced when my kids were young and raised them by myself. One day when I was watching reruns of The Rifle with my daughter she heard Lucus say things to Mark I had said to her and her brother and she looked at me and said she was raised by the Rifleman. I loved it.

Johnny and Jeff were dear friends of mine for over 10 years until their passing. Both were proud of their legacy and respected Chuck to the very end❤.

My brothers and I grew up watching and enjoying this show. The thing I remember was my father pointing out every time a house scene was shown, their house was built out of plywood which didn't exist until the 20th century.

Johnny and his brother Bobby grew up to be very interesting and talented men. Bobby is still with us, but Johnny passed away with complications relating to Alzheimer's just a couple of years ago. I try to stay in touch with his widow. His nieces are working hard to keep Johnny's memory alive.

The Rifleman was one of my favorite shows! Chuck Connors was also great in Branded, the story of a disgraced Civil War hero who carried his broken saber as a formidable weapon.

I was born in the late 70's but my dad always had The Rifleman on growing up and I can still watch each episode intently. It is without a doubt my favorite show of all time. I think out of your video the coolest thing was the connection to John Wayne and Wranglers. Keep up the great work
