the BEST dinner rolls ever! This is my grandmas recipe that I have perfected. These rolls have a great taste and are super fluffy.
*I halved the recipe in the video, this is the full recipe.
Dinner Rolls | Makes 30 large rolls
1/2 cup warm water
2 packets of active dry yeast (4 & 1/2 tsp.) — Mix in large bowl.
3/4 cup sugar
2 cups warm water
2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
— Add to yeast mixture and mix well.
8-9 cups flour
— Add flour 1 cup at a time until dough is no longer sticky.
— Knead 5-10 minutes. Let rise in greased bowl for 1.5-2 hours or until doubled.
— Punch dough down, shape into rolls and add to greased dish. Let rise 1.5-2 hours or until doubled.
— Bake 350 for 15 minutes uncovered then 7 minutes lightly covered with tin foil.
— Brush tops of rolls with butter when done.
