There is so much wrong with the Katana alone-
One. It has never been historically used by Ninjas. Why tf would a master of stealth carry not even necessarily use a 3 pound sword.
Two. It’s single edged. You’d have to have precision when cutting with it or it won’t work. Not a good weapon when you’re trying to mow down hordes of zombies.
Three. It required training to effectively use. If you don’t use it right you can say goodbye to it being a sword and use it as a fancy paper weight.

For survival I will pick the manganese sword it's very obvious and practical. From the word survival it self you will not just fight the zombie you need to hunt food make shelter log wood . You can also make trap and other wooden weapon.

You may think gun is the best choice but remember this is a zombie apocalypse soon you will be out of ammo and the 1st thing you will do is get away from cities cuz crowd areas have a lots of zombies and when you're in the wilderness you can not cut a wood with your AR15 😅.

Of the 4 the kopesh and katana are next to useless the bat isnt bad but id want it very reinforced so the cleaver sword is probably the best pick all around as a weapon that doubles as a utility tool

Each person is different for their Z-Apoc weapons. If edged weapons are of a concern, use a pole arm like a spear or halberd, as those give you enough range to not get killed. If swords are needed, you need something big and beefy, so Zweihanders or Nadachi. But if you need a smaller sword, then a katana is a good option indeed, messers as well and falchions. If you need a blade that is good at two things, do a machete, as they can clear brush and Z-limbs. But, getting stuck is a concern, so using blunt impact weapons like wooden clubs, bats, maces, or hammers are your best bet. Or, if you're really feeling it, use firearms. Specifically choose firearms in which parts and ammo are abundant, so if you're American, the AR Platform is your friend. If handguns, go with the 1911, Beretta 92 and Glock 17 (or 34, 19, 19x 45, or anything that can take Glock 17 magazines). Revolvers are also good, and I recommend using a .357 revolver, as those can also shoot .38 Specials. (If you have an M79 Medusa, good on you). If you're really cracked up, use a Kel-Tec Sub2000, cause it takes glock mags (or multiple mags), can fold, and has a threaded barrel for a suppressor (there is also the CQC variant that is integrally suppressed AND there are both versions in .40 S&W)

Cleaver sword is the only right option of the 4. No points of failure full tang/ One solid piece of metal, paracord handle for in case of an emergency. Still has enough weight to be used as a Blunt force edge weapon once a dull.

Blood is corrosive so when metals have blood on them for a long time they typically rust and erode but also that these weapons are less than practical when you have a gun with ammo, a better weapon to choose is a staff that is long and durable because they take less time to master and have deadly force once mastered and any piercing weapon is great

That Kopesh is so nice. I’d use a Kriss Vector on the zombies but I’d save that kopesh for territorial honor duels against my human rivals.
