I firmly believe this:

_Works_ do not produce _salvation_

_Salvation_ produces _works_

Good video, I would also add that Romans 8:14 states “For all who are lead by the spirit of God are children of God.” The Holy Spirit is the biggest indicator that you are saved.

Jesus loves you all and is coming soon! ❤️ if you haven’t repented and turned from sin and accepted Jesus as Savior believing He died and rose again for you, today is perfect and scripture says that today is the day of salvation!!

I believe we are saved by grace through faith, Not of works. (Ephesians 2:8-9) ...By placing our total-faith and trust, In the shed blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Which washes away our sins(Col 1:14), and By Receiving Him(Eternal-Life), As our Personal, Lord and Savior.(John 1:12)(John 3:36)(1John5)

The Apostle Paul defines salvation like this. "If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord, ” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,  you will be saved" (Romans 10:9) Salvation is the free gift of God given to us by His grace (goodness) through our faith in the finished work (tetelestai) of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Loving your brethren, in itself, is not a test of salvation. We can know this as Jesus says " And it is easy to greet your friends—even outsiders do that!"Matt 5:47. May you be richly blessed Bill.

A person who believes that he must work to keep his salvation, instead of work because he HAS salvation, needs to make sure he is ONLY trusting the Saviour Jesus Christ to take him to heaven and not Jesus Christ plus his good works. We work because we ARE saved NOT to be saved.

Not by works of righteousness which we have done. but according to his mercy he saved us, " Titus 3:5
"But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." Romans 4:5

"Hear the word and do it". I was bared from a church many years ago because I admitted that I hear and obey God's voice but they at that church don't believe that God talks to us today because they are "cessationists" like Baptists who think God can't talk after the Bible was completed or you'd be "adding to the scriptures". But Jesus says we live by every word that proceeds (current tense) from the mouth of God. And he says my sheep hear (current tense) my voice and God sets before us each day two ways and bids us to choose between the two ways each day. The ones who will enter his kingdom are the ones who hear him and obey him daily, doing the will of the Father. Really quite simple. So the commands he's talking about are not the "deeds of the law" by which no flesh will be justified, nor is it "works" as some might think but obeying his gentle instructions for your life each day which he will give if you will go to him, seek him with your whole heart and "wait" on him (like a waiter in a restaurant waits on a customer and asks what he wants) then do whatever he tells you to do. If you do this you will walk in the light as he is in the light. You will have the faith that comes by hearing him (The Word) and you will have rewards in heaven that fade not away but your faith will come forth as pure gold tried in the fire. If you are not doing this then you are presumptuous in supposing that you can figure out how to please God on your own and you are leaving God out of the relationship he wants to have with his people. Plus you are hiding from him in case he might want you to do something you won't want to do. Oh count on that! Faith is not easy, just ask Abraham or Noah or Daniel or... But it will be worth it!

This to me doesn't help at all. Because i read the bible and still this questions are in my head. We can do these things but we sin all the time. It's confusing

All the WORD is powerful. I have one scripture that changed my life that I obeyed and Jesus set me free from bondage of alcoholism, lust, anger and much more. Its Acts2:38 Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39. For this promise is unto you and your children and to as many as the Lord has called
Thank you Jesus

I thought we were under grace. Can anyone keep the commandments? If you mess up even one, are you lost forever? I have to work on Sundays. Does that mean I’m not saved? Man still sins while in these flesh bodies. We will not be made perfect until, we are with Christ.
