We all sin - but the difference is when you’re a child of God, you TRY not to sin! When you do sin, it weighs heavy on your conscience. You want to make it right. When the nonbelievers sin, they couldn’t care less!! “Oh well!”

I believe Jesus, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life. Died on a cross in my place for my sins. His blood covered me and forgave me of my sins. I believe in the Trinity and sound doctrine. I trust him daily. I read my Bible daily. Listen to gospel music. Still I make mistakes, but I know my God is good and He forgives me.

This is hard to admit, but I have to agree. I used to listen to all of that Hillsong music and feel moved while I continued enslaved by sin, and thought that God was doing something in my life. But then months later I came across your Third Adam video, and I was truly convicted and did a complete 180 in my life. Threw out all ungodly materials. Your video changed me. Well…the Holy Spirit did, and he used your video to do it.

This discussion has changed the way I think about salvation.I am struggling with a sin and I keep repeating it, because I haven't overcome this sin I always have the idea I am not saved.For days I've been passing this video, avoiding it, thinking that I'd hear exactly what I feared.But today I attended a powerful service and finally had the courage to click on the video.And I realise I was wrong about the idea I had about salvation, the understanding of salvation has been clarified to me through this video.Thank you Lord God for this channel, may you please bless it for as long as you see fit.

That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord, " and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

I see nothing further needed for salvation. The fact someone is concerned if they are saved is an indication they might well be saved. Those who aren’t saved don’t think about if they are saved or not. Those people are lost and therefore don’t care. When sin bothers you, that’s another indication of being saved. The lost don’t care and are happy in their sin

Feelings can lead people astray. It’s important to focus on the truths of God’s word first and foremost and then feelings can flow later. I remember when I came to Christ I was worried if I didn’t feel bad enough about my sins but a sermon by Spurgeon called “Struggles of Conscience” was very helpful to me in understanding how God changes our heart.

9:35 I NEEDED to here this. I was raised Baptist, lost my faith due to family dysfunction among many other painful things. Cursed God, burned bibles, dabbled in wicca, buddhism, atheism, and even homosexuality. Just last week, I turned back to Christianity and denounced homosexuality. I feel IMMENSE guilt. I did many wicked things in the past. I've been really beating myself up over it. I've been praying to God non-stop regardless of what I'm doing. I keep breaking down in tears too. I've been so convinced that it's too late for me. So, you are saying that if I feel guilt to the point of becoming upset, that God hasn't given up on me?

Thank you brothers, I had a counterfeit conversion when I was 17 years old. I was living with my Grandma, and I was made to go to church. One Sunday young people were getting saved, I tried to sneak out the door. The preacher caught me and said, “what about you son?” I wasn’t ready, but I felt pressured so I agreed. I knew I wasn’t saved, but I had this feeling, I was showered with warmth. I told my Grandma about that feeling, and she said I was saved. It was 3 years later; that I actually did get saved. Thank you for preaching the truth, thank you for telling people about the heresy of easy believism, and high pressure tactics. A person can only get saved when the Holy Spirit draws them to the Lord. That’s how it happened for me. God bless you brothers, and your families.

I think Tim Conway said it best when “You don’t have an encounter with God and not change”. There’s going to be a change when you become saved. For me, I stopped swearing, stopped playing games where I killed people, I stopped being so desperate for a girlfriend and more. Things like this don’t just happen on their own unless God himself was involved. When I got saved, it was as if the biggest weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I have never experienced anything like it before or since. Praise Jesus, He saved my life! And He will save yours if you repent and believe in Him.

Maybe this is another way to know if you are saved--your heart rejoices when you hear others praising Jesus and glorifying Him or when you do so yourself and loving God's Word--when you read it and it is become personal and is your's and you want it in the depths of your heart. All of scripture, the beautiful uplifting parts and the harsher parts, and the very greatly detailed parts are precious to you, even when you don't understand something right away then waiting for the Holy Ghost to teach you and sometimes it's immediate and sometimes takes a while, but trusting that He will give you understanding in His time.

All I know is that if it was up to me I would be going to hell. I love the Lord Jesus Christ and I believe that he suffered and died for my sins and my old self was crucified with Him. I believe that He rose again conquering the grave and that in Him I will rise too. It's because of who He is and what He did that I am saved not because of what I do or who I am. My trust is in Him and only Him. I remember when I was a kid and the conviction of the holy spirit was so strong I was balling my eyes out. Didnt have to drag me down front. Don't remember how old i was. When I got baptized it took couple of hours to remember the life before. Over the course of my life i was a sinner and sometimes a complete sinner. Sometimes over the past couple of years, I have wondered if I was saved. I have had to come to terms that if God cant forgive all that I did in my life then he cant save anyone. So his word says if you confess your sins he is faithful and just to forgive and to cleanse you from all wickedness. I pray that verse every night I certainly don't live in the world and wont get into all I do, but your life should show that you have been saved.

When I hear something like that I always think about the thief on the cross next to Yeshua. He was dying and all he had to give was his recognition of who Yeshua was and believe He was who He said He was. He acknowledged that he was a sinner and deserved to die but our Savior didn't.
