2024 Eclipse: What to expect

The Great North American Eclipse on April 8, 2024 will sweep across 15 U.S. states, plus parts of Mexico and Canada. The U.S. won’t see another for two decades.

Watch for the "Carpet of Crescent Moons." During the waning of the sun, walk under a tree and you will see a carpet of millions of crescent moons on the ground and all over the tree. It's a very earie thing to see.

Cool to think that the eclipse goes from west to east even if Earth spins clockwise.

As the moon orbits Earth counterclockwise it projects that shadow coming from west. Its counterintuitive 😊
