As its very difficult to get some of the laptop and smartphone speakers in local market and online, in this video i am showing how to repair( By using Silicon ) laptop or smartphone speakers which produce lot of crackling sound.
This method can also be used to repair or fix Dell XPS notebook speakers and subwoofer that produce crackle sound output.
The laptop in the video is Samsung 500P Model : NP500P4CH.

I just tried it on my two Harmon/Kardon speakers in my laptop, which quit working a year or so ago.
Now they are both working!!!

Thanks, instead of spending $ to buy a used old speaker, I used Silicone Sealant to fix it. Since it locates in the front of my laptop, I did not open the whole computer, instead, I directly reached the speaker by loosing the screws in the bottom and raising the cover of the speaker a little bit.

I used an Egg tray and shaped it., then i just put on double sided tape. Thanks for this video i came up for the idea.

would be great to know if it also works using PM polymer (silicon sucks as it doesn't last more than few days/weeks after opening, and its much harder to work with (to seal stuff) as it sticks and dry too fast)
