So flood waters, cold, darkness and tight spaces? That is the biggest nope from me ever...

Nope, no way I would have been able to get out of there … but only because you can't get out of somewhere you never went in to begin with. A cave of any kind sounds like the worst kind of nightmare to my claustrophobic brain. I'm happy to watch caving videos like this one from the ground level of my couch or bed, thanks all the same.

The rising floodwaters felt like something straight out of a movie—terrifying! 😱

I’m all for being curious but what’s the point of this? I would love to see the deepest darkest areas of the ocean but I ain’t gonna actually do it.
Idk maybe it’s just me but there’s something about spending days going deeper into a cave that’s just insane to me. It would literally take them days to get out it’s crazy

The idea that 46 degrees is 'double' 23 degrees is hurting me

My dad and I and some friends planned months ahead to go to the ape caves. When we went there it was raining and in some parts of the cave we had to walk through water. When we got out we had to follow a long trail back to the parking lot. We could hear a river even though we never remembered there ever being a river (we’d been to the cave a few times before). It turns out that it was raining so much that there was now a river we had to walk through. We survived and no one was hurt

Squeezing through such tight spaces thousands of feet underground is where I'd be likely to draw the line. While I'm not claustrophobic, watching videos of people doing that on the surface makes me feel uneasy. But for those who have the mental fortitude and experience, getting to what are literally the most remote places reachable by humans must be so worthwhile. Especially considering that even within those hostile places are active ecosystems with complex life.

1:35 Check your math, it might be slightly off. Hint: Multiply 225 by 3.28. Then maybe knock a zero off of the "feet" number.

Did I misunderstand this or did he just say that the empire state building is 377 feet tall? (It's 1250')

Why did they bring Jeffrey Dahmer on the caving trip? That seems like a bad idea.
