In this video, I'm sharing our story after we survived a tornado in Nashville, Tennessee. We were lucky to make it out alive, and this video is a testament to that.

After experiencing a tornado in Nashville, Tennessee, we knew we had to document the experience and share it with the world. In this video, you'll see everything from the moment the tornado sirens start wailing to the aftermath - and everything in between! We hope you enjoy watching our story as much as we enjoyed making it.

That happened to my friend and I several years ago in Kentucky. Went over head but didn't touch down in town. But when we were allowed to leave, you could see what damage the winds did outside.

I was in the walmart parking lot when this happened once. I had no idea the entire time and just sat there in my car eating lunch lol. Fortunately nothing happened

Just shows how many people aren't weather aware. Literally just looking at the weather saves so many lives, but people just don't care until the roof above them is collapsing.

glad everyone was safe. this reminds me of the 'superstore' tornado episodes, i didn't know big box stores did that in real life 😮

I am terrified of tornadoes! When I was a senior in high school, performing in a massive dance recital in a college auditorium, we hit the final pose and the audience applauded for a minute before the director of the studio announced that there was a tornado and EVERYONE needed to evacuate to the lower level, dancers of all ages and their families of all sizes in the basement of a college and I was terrified

I was at walmart in a tornado. This did NOT happen. Our experience was shopping as normal and the power to the entire store went off. Every light in the whole store. We were in the back of the store and it was completely black. The only light was from cell phone lights (not the new cellphones with flash lights the old nokia cell phones). The generators didnt kick on because it was raining so hard the entire parking lot outside was flooded with water up to the windows on most cars. The staff came to each section with flash lights to walk everyone to the front of the store where there was a small amount of light from front doors (the tornando had passed by this point). Very bad and scary situation. A wall to the business next door fell over on customers and injured some people. Everyone at Walmart seemed to be fine. The store had lots of wind damage. The sams next door was flooded out with knee deep water. Their parking lot had cars completely underwater! This amount of flooding from 15 min. Of rain!!!!

A while back there were active shooters in our area, and a friend of mine who had COPD was shopping at Walmart. Apparently someone stormed into the Walmart she was at while she was checking out, and she wouldn't leave without her groceries. Girl walked all the way and had to walk back and catch a bus on the way. She was determined. We saw what happened on the news and when she didn't come back we freaked out. Turned out that shooter was thankfully restrained and no one was hurt, but she came in gasping for air with her food.
She got an intervention afterward 😂

We had to get people into a produce cooler of the grocery store I worked in when a tornado blew over the store. Only 1 guy panicked & threatened to leave - two of the managers stopped him as the tornado blew by. The rest of the customers & workers remained calm until it was over the store & safe to continue shopping or leave. The panicked person tried to get violent until he was reminded the cop’s had already been called because of his behavior. He was allowed to call home and he was escorted home by those cops. No charges were filed. Everyone breathed a huge sigh of relief after that was over!!

Texan here. When I was a kid my mom and I were in Garden Ridge and a tornado was coming right toward us so they locked down the store and made everyone get under the bathroom sinks. Fortunately it lifted up over the store but then touched back down again on the other side of the highway we were by. It was crazy and I’m thankful no harm came to us.

Me and my cousin were 13 and 16 last year and we went to target in ohio and we were by ourselves. We were checking out when everyone got a notification on there phones that a tornado was heading towards us and we could see out of the doors and we could see anything it was gray and couldn’t see the cars. We were freaking out because our parents were on the beach and were answering there phones. Definitely a story to tell at each other’s weddings in the future tho.

WALMART, #1 tornado sponsor!! When major twisters hit, there always seems to be a Walmart in the midst of the action! 😂😂😂😂
