These Calculus videos are awesome and they explain everything so well! However, I really don't see why you would want to know stuff like this type of a problem. I don't think that it really matters much if you do know the answer or not. However, these are great videos and they are helping me pass my Calculus class in High-School. Thank you very much for taking the time to explain how to do these problems.

You are better than my math teacher! She has one full lesson and the only thing she manages to 'teach' us is ''Related rates 1'', but you managed to teach me in half a lesson three times as much. Thank you sir. Only if you could go to more complex ones, because that is what our teacher gave us for homework even though she taught us nothing.

You, sir, have saved my grade. I was just about to give up on ever figuring related rates out. I've been trying to learn this for a week, and you taught me in 20 minutes! Thank you so very much! I've never felt the need to comment on a video before. Seriously, I created a youtube account just to say "thank you." Soo... "Thank you!!!!"

thanks for the practice, what i would do is get the problem, do it on my own and then see if my answer matched. On this problem you forgot the negative till the end and it freaked me out for 15 minutes trying to find what i did lol. but in the end it was a lgood source for practice and explanations, thanks

This guy is seriously legendary. My Trig teacher was so horrible that I stopped going to class and taught myself exclusively by watching these videos at my school's math center and following along.

There will come a day when learning will not necessitate a classroom. THIS IS THE FUTURE!

Why the top comments are from like, 4 years ago if the video was posted just last year?!

He took the derivative I believe. (d/dx) tan(x) = sec^2(x)

Well if you have taken calculus or are new to it then to find the derivative of tan it does equal secant squared .
