I have been working on target notes for about a month. I just came across this video and the light finally turned on. When you said visualize the chord shape really made since. It is important though to memorize the pattern of root notes in each key to make it all come together. Love your mission, "Practice makes Perfect"

This instantly made improv for me so much easier and sound a whole lot better! I know all the 5 shapes of the pentatonic but it never really sounded good just improvising all over the place. It seems so simple now that I should've been outlining the chords I'm playing, don't know how I didn't see this sooner! Sa wakas! Thank you Kuya Perf! Naging lead guitarist ako dati pero wala akong alam sa mga ganyan, tumitingin lang ako ng tutorial sa youtube or nangangapa lang. Natuto ako ng pentatonic scale pero di ko alam pano i-apply sa music at sa buong neck kasi wala akong mahanap na tutorial/lessons. Ngayon natutunan ko na kung paano gawin yan siguro itutuloy ko na pag gigitara :)
