My father said that perfect love only exists between a man and a dog. The man will lavish attention and care on the dog, and the dog will return it with absolute loyalty and affection.

My Grandmother never brought a friend home. I asked her "aren't you lonely?" She said, "if you ever bring a woman home, she will either steal your man, or try to poison your relationship with him." Granny was based!

Maybe that’s why it hurts so much when we get dumped or cheated on.. it’s like saying “your love wasn’t good enough for me”

3 Things women want

1. Authority of a man.
2. Benefits of a woman .
3. Accountability of an infant.

I used to think I was alone when I was single but then I got married. Talk about being lonely...it was much worse while being married. A lot of guys don't realize how great it is to be single.

The more I understand dating females, the less it starts making sense as an average dude(who isn't so good looking, and is south asian). Why is one supposed to give his all, while only getting the "possibility/chance" of physical intimacy and procreation, along with love(which is most of the time a facade anyways, except when it's some top 5% of the good looking dudes)

When a "female" robot can accurately mimic gratitude, the human race will conclude in a single generation. (That's how important gratitude is to a man in a relationship...)

The most inciteful portion of this video is the analogy: women instinctually want to love babies, the way men instinctually want to love women. Both are powerful instincts to express love and care for others.

Patrice O'neal knew this stuff so deeply, it's a tragedy he's gone.
He would ask questions that'd drive to the core. For example, to a woman, "what do you do that would make me love you, what do you do that makes you loveable". That stumps women as much as it would stump kids. Lol

When my marriage of 25 years was over I noticed there was not one single picture of me, anywhere, while it was tons of pictures of the children and my then ex-wife, so yes, for me this was true

A woman never has her love rejected by an infant, and only very exceptionally from a man. It never occurs to a woman that a man might experience pain from having his love rejected, or that over a lifetime of near-constant rejection this pain might be cumulative.

This makes so much sense. Women almost never talk about giving love to men, they mainly want to receive the man's love. Then women give their love to children and animals. It's pretty sad that women's love for a man is conditional and sometimes transactional. Only women's love for children and animals is unconditional.

The assessment of a man's need to show his love to a woman is spot on, it's our nature. That natural instinct is and has been used/ manipulated by women and government to extract resources from the man. Just because you have the tendency to do something doesn't mean you should, especially when there is clearly a danger.

Im single for years at 28 and im not ugly or anything, i just keep saving my money and will buy a house and just live in it all by myself and buy myself all the things i want, no more women for me. If you have been single for a few years, you get used to it and any girl coming in your life is just stress.

Even worse than not finding a woman to love is having it thrown back in your face and dumped for a chad. I adopted a dog after my last breakup, and lavish attention on him: long walks, rides, treats, and just quality time. He is my companion, the reason I can't wait to get home to every day. I love him and he loves me right back. This fulfills a need I didn't recognize until I saw this video. Many women I know can't understand why I'm not back in the dating cesspool.

I was married for 16 years and loved passionately while receiving none in return. Yet I still loved her unconditionally because my love for her was not dependent upon her performance or lack there of. That doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt like hell because it sure did. Still hurts to this day yet most women move on like they just ordered a pizza.

that's very true but the way i see it is that women deserving love and attention are getting rarer by the day. we can see it in our daily lives and therefore it's easier to accept the fact that they're not worth wasting time for. get a cat or a dog and you avoid a lot of headaches

Believe me, Alexander is correct. I live in a family of women (wife, daughter & three granddaughters). They are all happy to have me virtually shower them with attention, provision and protection. At times it feels like a oneway street. Only occasionally will I get a heartfelt thanks. Mostly it is merely expected that I pour into everyone else. The exception is one granddaughter, an introvert, who will genuinely express her thanks and recognize all that I do for the family. She will say, "You do everything for us, Papa."

It hurts until you as a man realize you can give yourself all that love and care

Here in Mexico, there is a saying amongst women, that they love to say as an axiom for relationships: "busca quién te quiera, no a quién querer" / "find somebody that loves you, not who to love". Now i understand why and confirms (or so i think) this thought process is multicultural. I didn't get it at first, when my female coworker gave me that "advice" to encourage me to go out and date, after my breakup.
