Radio Luxembourg was the best when I was a kid in England in the 50’s/60’s on our transistor radios. Reception wasn’t that great but it got better on a clear night. BBC was terrible and old fashioned. Pirate radio was even better when it started and eventually forced the BBC and government to get their fingers out and play decent music. Now I can listen to anything anytime on Spotify with perfect clarity on my phone. Who’d have thought back then.

That drum solo on the end of Abbey Road must be the most difficult and best written solo of all time! There’s not a drummer in the 3rd grade that could play it! Oh, the phrasing, the finesse, those eighth notes! Go Ringo!

Ringo said in this interview, *"It's the things you don't do that haunt you for the rest of your life."*

Well, Ringo, that is true. But it is also true that much of the things we DO do, haunt us for the rest of our lives. And one of the things you did was conspire to steal your good mate Pete Best's job, and his ticket to worldwide fame and fortune, never talking to him again, and lying about the "reason" he was sacked, that he was a drug addict, when in fact Pete was the *_only_* Beatle who didn't do drugs. If that reprehensible treatment of your friend doesn't haunt you now, it most certainly will in the after-life. I suggest you take summer clothes where you're going.
