Trump Shooting: Does Audio Analysis Show 2nd Gunman?

Jeff Ostroff continues the Trump Shooting analysis, showing his audio analysis to determine whether the gunshots all sound the same, and does this point to a possible 2nd shooter in this Donald Trump assassination attempt in Butler, PA On July 13, 2024.
We'll also show you a newer video released of the Trump shooter's last known position on the crime scene property before declining the roof, drone videos showing the most likely spot where he could have accessed the roof, and possible hand prints and footprints that may belong to him. 3 Controlled Shots at Trump. Trump dives to the ground. Shooter thought he got him. Shooter sprays 5 shots at North Counter Snipers through the tree.

I’m a recording engineer with thousands of hours of waveform editing. Regarding the Dave Stewart wave forms vs. what I hear; 10 shots total, a slower group of 3, a rapid group of 5, followed closely by a single, the 9th, long pause till the 10th, which took out crooks.
Regarding the 1st 3 vs the next 5, the decay time of the 1st 3 is much longer than the next 5. They sound the same which leads me to believe they were fired by the same model and rounds, but the early reflections (not the echo) are longer on the 1st 3. This indicates the 1st 3 were fired from a close but lower position, the the decay of the wave being longer due to reflecting between and around the buildings, then the next 5 were fired by crooks, the much shorter decay time indicating a higher position with the many less early reflections due to being shot from the roof. Regarding echo (the long reflection off a further away flat surface), the 1st 3 shots have an echo, the next 5 do not. And, the slower even rhythm of the 1st 3 reveals a shooter who is cool headed, then the next 5 in hectic rapid succession revealing an inexperienced shooter shooting at a human for the 1st time. BTW, Crooks rifle had side mounted sights to aim while the rifle is in a sideways attitude, but photos of him clearly show the rifle in its normal upright position leading me to believe he was not aiming, but firing as fast as he could indiscriminately, unlike the first 3 more deliberate shots.

Love your series on the shooting and your calm analysis of only presenting what you know so far without jumping to conclusions. You mention the disjointed communications and command structure and you're spot on saying there should be ONE command post.

This is like REALLY basic stuff covered in the FEMA National Incident Management System (NIMS) and the Incident Command System (ICS) that all agencies are supposed to be following for any incident or event big or small. It not only calls for a Unified Command (like you described), but also a Communication Unit Leader (COML). It would be the COML's responsibility to prearrange ALL the different modes of communication from every agency participating in the the event onto an Incident Radio Communications Plan (form ICS-205) and to make sure the command post can communicate with all involved agencies.

Time is everything in situations like this and reliable communications is key to shorten the time it takes to get the word out to all agencies regarding a threat, or even a potential threat. In this case, I think they could have stopped the shooter long before any shots were fired and lives lost.

This guy appears to be more controlled opposition. With all of the cell phone videos and audio rolling in the crowd, the assassins (if ANOTHER inside job) would know that with even lay analysis of the audio data they could not chance any second gunman actually shooting at Trump. They were totally dependent on Crooks, the "lone gunman acting in isolation" (if it was Crooks) in any assassin shooting at Trump in order to divert attention away from themselves. Thus, the 8 initial shots from the same source on the roof some 130 yards away is easily proven. However, more recent audio analysis prove that the two final shots at Crooks did NOT come from the riflemen on the roofs behind Trump. The came from the left just outside the stands between Trump and the assassin. This is very serious analysis which Jeff has for some reason left out. It also tends show what a charade of lies has been going before the Congressional and Senate committees and how they have been grossly misinformed or are covering for the Washington insider crowd who want to get rid of Trump. Also, the Secret Service command at the event somehow knew right away there was only one gunman - i.e. the "shooter down" announcement within 30 seconds of the last shot of the 10, and then the okay was given to raise Trump. How did the SS command "know" there was only one shooter. The way Trump was raised from the floor of the podium is beyond negligence if there was any possibility of a second shooter, and the SS command made a big mistake in revealing insider knowledge.

He shot all of his shots from the same basic position. Do you know for sure if he shot at all? No, none of US knows. Everybody is making a gross assumption on this.

Drawing bullet trace lines across some put together graphic are useless. I can "prove" or "disprove" anything by fudging objects and positions around even slightly.


Only the first shot is cold bore and that doesn't affect the gas discharge to any measurable degree.

This was his dad's gun, not his. Pretty sure dad would take care of his gun.

Guns don't magically change their report across 8 consecutive rounds unless the ammo changes. It didn't or did it? Have you seen the forensics of all 8 spent brass? No and you never will either.

Rifle did not malfunction.

A rifle has no appreciable wear at all on 8 shots.

Throw out the videos of the moving running cell phones. They are corrupted data.

Venn diagrams based on some ChatGpt are not physics nor are anecdotes about sharks have any corelation to shoot.

The gun fire audio plots, particularly Dave's which are the cleanest, show different sound plots between the group of 3 and the 5. Oh yeah wait, the 5 quick shots overlapped? NOT the fifth one.

You are being fixated on the lone gunman theory. Maybe you are the conspiracy theorist.

We are not all on the same side here. Agents of disinformation web sites are all over this as is the Federal Bureau of Disinformation and Cover Up and the Secret CYA Service and the Butler CYA police.

I think what this video did not address is that the videos in which the recording is taken in between trump and the shooter, all 8 shots sound relatively the same. However, the two recordings taken from the side of the agr building, not in the path of the shooters bullet, but to the side of it, there is a clear difference between shots 123 and 45678. The logic hear is that sound waves disperse relatively evenly from the gun in all directions, but if there is something between the gun and the recoding device, like say a wall, the sound would be distorted or weakened. If there was a second shooter, the theory is that he shot from inside the building. Thus all the recording downrange would have the same sounds for all 8 shots, but the recordings to the side of the building would be distorted on shots 123 because there is a wall between the gun and the camera. This is what I would like to be addressed.

I've been waiting for someone to do a thorough audio timing analysis. Not just of the echoes, but of the intervals between the different shots. The evidence is in the audio tracks and the timing delays between sounds from different source locations would not just tell you if there was a second shooter, but would let you triangulate his position on a map. This technology has been around awhile (ShotSpotter) Not only that, it would tell you if there was a single, different shooter, and confirm the locations of counter snipers and the officer that shot back. There's plenty of data and footage to calibrate, normalize and compute this, and the speed is sound is awfully slow.

No. Why is everyone ignoring the video taken looking east in front of the 2 storey building with the open windows where there were local snipers set up??? The video clearly shows Crooks crawling up the WEST edge of the roof. Why would he then stand up and run closer to the East side of the building roof. That makes no sense whatsoever. since he would be clearly seen. If someone got up on the roof from the East side and was standing up to get there then maybe it was someone else.

When the officer got up on the roof and then had gun pointed at him so he got down. Why didnt he shoot in the air to alert the public and ss and other officers. Esp since he was aware that the man had a gun on the roof.

The new path makes no sense. There is no chance he did that one. Those finger prints and footsteps are all the LEO's on those roofs after the fact. The Copenhaver video clearly shows him walking on the 2nd building (TO THE RIGHT ON SCREEN) across to the walkway to the building he shot from. There is no reason he would have taken that path getting up at that back building. Plus you show him going straight up from the walkway when he clearly moved to the right several slats which is clearly shown in numerous vids from the crowd on the opposite end of the building he shot from. As far as the shots, the reason they sound the same on Dayve's is because he was 70 feet away and directly in the line of fire from both the shooter and those who returned fire. So you hear Crooks going overhead and hear the return shots going overhead. No other videos are like that.

You haven’t analyzed the audio frequencies. You are using terms like, “sounds like, ” and “maybe.” If you use the correct software you can analyze the frequencies, and label them quantitatively.
Until you get the sounds quantified, it is still speculation. 🤷🏻
