When I was young I started bulking. I was told that if I didn't look like some fairy tale hero, I wouldn't look like a man.
Now I know... Lean is king.

That is one hell of a twist
Looking in the mirror and still seeing yourself as just an average dude after years of hard work and sweats

The scene at 1:06 shows that even if the girl was trying to flirt with him, he wouldn’t see it because too preoccupied by comparing his arms with hers 😢

The background music sounding like a helicopter really sells this video.

A few years back, in the UK, London had posters that said "Beach Body Ready". They were banned. They featured young, attractive women in bikinis.

These weren't women who had plastic surgery to look good, or taken a bunch of PEDs. They just worked out, ate right and were in their early twenties. The outrage was nationwide.

But the standards for men have become ridiculous and no one seems to care. The superhero physique requires highly regimented bulk and cut cycles, PEDs and a day of dehydration. They take those poster shots for MCU actors in the three days they can hold that shredded musculature.

This does real harm to young men who hit the gym and eat right, but can't possibly get those gains and that look. Eventually, many will resort to synthetic testosterone which can cause a host of health issues, including infertility. Young men are told this is how they have to look and they're minecrafting themselves to get there. No one cares.

Moral of the story lads, don’t do gear.
Girls on average don’t like hyper muscular men the same way dudes don’t like women with heavy plastic surgery

Remember, taking a compliment and not rejecting it does not make you narcissistic.

we shouldn't follow the "standard" of the society when the society itself looks like its falling

The hardest part about bulking up was getting attention, complients and praise from nothing but other dudes. And no female recognition whatsoever.

too relateble...but sitting thinking about it while being depressed wont do anything, understanding what having this body means and what it represents, that what will get you to chase it willingly.

Body Dysmorphia is crazy depressing. I been dealing with it for years now. My Father would call me fat starting at a very young age. Was bullied pretty severely ab my weight and even my speed lol. Now im 175 lean. And feel smaller then i ever have even though i weighed 138 lbs in high school and i lift more then i ever could. It does make me feel better about it. But just know its not about how anyone else feels just yourself and if the gym makes you happy like it does for me. Go for it with all your might. But just remember to work your people skills and dont forget your faith.
