I think @jacquesinthegarden and I went a little too far this time - we planted HUNDREDS of dahlias all over the garden! Was this a silly move or a stroke of genius?

Dahlia Daddies and their Dirty Dahlia Tricks....count me in!
My favorite flowers to grow! I love the big cactus flowered style, the little pompons, and the "black foliage varieties. I like to plant them in bottomless pots, sunk into the ground, which makes it easy to remove them to overwinter in the greenhouse. They will usually overwinter fine in the ground here but it takes them a while to get going in Spring. Keeping them in the warm greenhouse, they are ready to go in Spring.
