It should be ".. too steep.." not "... to steep..." in the title - you're welcome ;).
Useful content BTW, watching most of your videos.

Exceptional video. Just 3 weeks ago I went over the bars and fell 8 feet onto a jagged boulder. Broke my left wrist and a few bones in my right palm. My whole body was in massive punctures and lacerations. I looked like Freddy Krueger.

Something un-rideable is not rideable

That's solid advice for beginners. After taking to the trails for several days, I noticed that I would suddenly become much more confidant in certain parts of the terrains. It's a matter of building confidence in your abilities BUT ALSO in your bike. I think that latter part is very important, as well. Most of the time, the bike will do most of the work for us. Riding all kind of stairways is the best practice, find all sorts of them and try to do them slowly. Even practice stopping on them mid ride.

I have a budget hardtail and a fairly steep head tube angle at 69 degrees . Doesn't bode for confidence on the steep but not impossible . It seems like your bikes head tube angle also looks fairly steep . It Is impressive to see that as your skills need to be heightened over say a guy with full suspension and a head tube angle of 65 . At that angle you can get away with a mistake or 2 .Another thing I do if I know I am going on steep trails is stiffen up my front fork with more air pressure to keep the fork from not compressing and not further steepening the head tube angle

@sickbiker Hi, looks like your handlebar is fixed not at center

Depending on the trail if you can lock out your fork it will minimise your weight being thrown forwards under compression.

If you can ride steep technical trails, everything else is straight forward for sure!

Learn to ride trials and pogo down on yer back wheel. Saves on front tyre wear as well. What’s not to like?

When your rear tire hits your ass, you got it. You can go down some seriously steep stuff

For breaking four fingers were used back then. Later two fingers were enough. Now its been "pushed" to break with only one finger. You dont have strong enough brakes for that? Well, buy more expensive ones man! I am wondering when bikers and brakes production companies will start to push some new brakes with braking with little finger. You'd have much stronger and safer grip on handle bar right? :)
