Lies aren’t yours, so you should get rid of them

Imagine there’s this enemy general marching toward you. You know you’ll lose if you fight him, so you need him out of the picture, whatever way possible. Distract, discourage, sidetrack, pretend to be stronger than you are: whatever it is, you want him out of the fight. That is what the devil likes to do for us because Jesus is stronger than him, and he wants us out of the fight. One of his favorite things is lies. (also, the Bible also calls the devil the “father of lies”, so there’s that)
