12:37 it's not exactly because of the engine. Genshin Impact is made in Unity, you can blame any physics bug on that, but targeting definitely depends on the code. The problem is that the targeting system in the game works in a way most players don't like, which is to choose the closest oponent as target when you start attacking, lock all attacks to them, and not switch target until you move and the closest oponent is now a different one. The most optimal way to make a targetting system that isn't too different from this one, would be to always choose the closest oponent that is in the general direction the player is looking at; and if there isn't any, target the closest oponent like normal.

As someone who's using android, I can miss my CA with HuTao even thou the enemy is at my side so I agree it's more of the targeting system problem more than Yoimiya in general

I completely agree with your points on yoimiya!! I also don't really like the argument that yoimiya needs supports when this game isn't solely played with one character alone. The ability to try different team comps makes this game so enjoyable for me. Every time i use eula or any other of my carries, they have their supports to boost their damage! love the content keep it up!

I was shocked by how good Yoimiya is with Albedo. His E and her Burst both do damage at 2 second intervals, and lets her stay on field and still trigger her own Burst.
