Them arriving to LOTR and just being like "Oh yeah, just, just up there, no need to even listen to it" makes me VERY happy. My favorite movie soundtrack ever.

Take a listen to John Powell’s How to Train Your Dragon - gorgeous orchestrations, amazing storytelling (even without dialogue), and just a terrific piece of music.

I love most of Hans Zimmers stuff and John Williams. But what Howard Shore did in LOTR is probably the greatest movie music ever written.

“He’s a Pirate” is great and all but there are so many underrated songs from those soundtracks like “Up is Down” and “One Day” which will just hit you in the feels. Also Davy Jones’ theme, not underrated but I felt the need to include it.

The lord of the rings music is actually insane. 11 hours of pure bliss witch perfectly captures and elevates the story

Eddy accidentally composing the up theme is still one of my favorite moment on this channel. In fact that whole video is just so funny😅

As a musical theater nerd I would love to listen to Eddy's stories from the time when he was in the HS Musical - how he ended up there, the rehearsal, the stage presence...

Lion king Mufasa's death theme is EPIC. Hans Zimmer actually wrote it as a requem for his father, which makes it a 10000 times more beautiful and for someone like me that lost a father too, makes it seem so private. He's a genius.

As an amateur Tolkien nerd, it is fitting that the LOTR movies have incredible music considering that in the Silmarillion, the entire world is created through an act of music.

I’m sad and happy. Happy they share my feelings about LOTR. Sad they didn’t play anything from it🥺

I think it would be really interesting to hear their ranking of iconic Disney songs. Although I could take or leave the movie, I absolutely love Colors of the Wind because of the orchestration.

I wish you guys would break down the whole LOTR soundtracks

It isn’t really a famous movie but I think you guys would enjoy the soundtrack from The Prince of Egypt- all songs, but specifically “Deliver Us”. It’s sooo good 😫

The Pirates of the Carribean soundtracks were actually composed by three different composers. In the first movie Klaus Badelt created the theme, which was followed up by Hans Zimmer in the next three movies, and later Geoff Zanelli composed the music for part 5. In my opinion the soundtrack of each single movie is quite distinct, and my favourites are part 2 and 5.

I know it’s not mainstream, but one of my favourite OSTs is “Pride and Prejudice” (2005version), while I love most of the pieces for its calm nature, I totally fell in love with how the composer Dario Marianelli used Purcell’s “Abdelazar” and made a violin version out of it, giving the dance scene in the movie beautiful emotions ♡

TwoSetViolin: *ranks something higher when it compliments the movie*

Also TwoSetViolin: *puts Jaws in D Tier*

Y'all knew this would be copyright stricked for damn sure. Despite that you guys make this lovely video for our enjoyment. That's some Ling Ling power there, love it.

Edit: Wow, thank you for more than a 1000 likes!

Ghibli music is just on another level. All of their soundtracks and films are so special and different, they make you feel like you're in another world.

Obviously LOTR is S tier but seeing Interstellar right up there with it makes me happy. The music in the spinning docking scene took that from being really cool to absolutely mind-blowing tears streaming down my face incredible.
